Something about me…
I have always enjoyed exercise and particularly dance fitness. During my life, I trained in ballroom and Latin, Indian dance and ice dance. It wasn’t until I passed my Level 2 Exercise to Music qualifications (in my early 50s) that I discovered a love of teaching.
I continued to study, gaining Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in teaching children’s exercise and exercise for older people. When I was selected to become a Powerhoop UK trainer, I was keen to gain appropriate qualifications and, after a year’s study, passed my Level 3 ETM Trainer and Assessor qualifications.
Now, in addition to teaching a variety of classes, I train instructors to teach my own brand – Mumbai Moves Bollywood Fitness.
After 11 years, my love for teaching has not dimmed. Sharing my passion for fitness with others and seeing how much they enjoy classes, is still immensely rewarding.
Something about you…
If you’re thinking about joining my classes or training with me, you’ll be in good company. I teach a wonderful group of people, ranging from teenagers through to those aged 80+. I have complete beginners and ex-professional dancers in my classes– there’s something for everyone.
For some, the hour they spend in class may be the only ‘me-time’ they get in a week whilst others come to class several times a week. There’s always a warm welcome for everyone.
What my class members say…
“I can highly recommend this class. Sheila is an excellent instructor; she makes it a fun time whilst exercising. My only complaint is that the time goes too quickly – I could dance all night. Everyone is friendly at Sheila’s classes. I have made a lot of friends.” – Linda W
“Great class. Great people. Fab instructor. No pressure. Just a fun class to attend. Sheila’s enthusiasm rubs off on all of us.” – Steph D

“I enjoy this class so much, a great way to exercise, so much fun, fab music and our excellent instructor, Sheila, who makes it so easy to follow and if we get a few steps wrong, who cares!” – Elaine C
